The first SOS Scrambles took place on January 19 at Bedford tunnel, where six rounds of International Bodyflight Association 3-way random wind tunnel dive pool were completed. Scoring was to 45 seconds from the breaking of the first point. The event was very successful with much fun and hilarity and loads of camaraderie. Not a bruise in sight. Great result.

Unfortunately, at the last minute Freddie deMan could not take part and Michelle Garwood was an emergency stand in (even though not yet a SOS member) but it meant the other two team members could still fly.

The 15th World POPs championship and meet updates can be found on our website, popsuk.wixsite.com/skydiving If you intend to join the event, please set out your expressions of interest via the registration form on the World Event page. Formal registration including deposit should be available at the end of January. Please keep an eye out for messages on the Facebook page and the World Event page on our website. People are reminded that to compete in the POPs World Championship you need to be a POPs Member.
