It’s been difficult during lockdown with no skydiving but club members have been keeping in touch every Saturday morning at 10am by running drop-in Zoom sessions, where we’ve witnessed some extraordinary scenes such as Luke Clayden going through his morning ablutions, Stuart Turner’s Koi Carp obsession, and Chad Smith preparing a chicken in between hospital shifts.

We also had a successful Zoom quiz night which was fun for all involved and hopefully the first of many until we can play in the sky again.
The airfield is being used as a Covid-19 assessment centre, helping in the fight against the disease, and one of our members Maxine Hopkins has been working there. A big shout goes out to all our members who are key workers, either for the NHS or in other important roles.
We are all looking to getting back in the sky soon.
