Hello everyone!
I hope you are all safe and checking up on each other! It’s such a shame this virus has hit us, especially with all the good weather we have had. Although we haven’t been operating, we have still been busy down at Beccles behind the scenes. A big shout out to Marty and Sindy, our admin staff who have done a fantastic job at rebooking all our customers and re-organising the diary.
We have been busy with painting, grass cutting and general maintenance making sure the DZ is fresh and clean for the return. Our Cessna Blackhawk has had regular start-ups and checks to make sure she is fit for the skies once we get the go ahead. We’ve also been very productive on our Facebook page, with regular online videos for AFF students, refresher videos, licence briefs and general Q&A with the Instructors, as well as keeping up the friendly banter and funny videos of course! Hopefully by the next time I’m writing for the Mag, we will have been back jumping and we can start to get back to normal again – hoping that none of us have forgotten how to fall out of a plane of course!
