Regular readers of Gear Zone will remember that I reviewed Huel, a quick and easy meal replacement product, last year and gave it two firm Macca thumbs up.
If you didn’t see it before, Huel is a powder that you mix with water or milk to give you a great-tasting drink that can be made (and, more importantly, consumed) quickly. The best bit is that it’s not like some diet shake. Huel genuinely fills you up and contains only good stuff.
Sometimes, however, it’s not always easy to get water or milk and, as skydivers, we’re a lazy bunch. Anything that makes something easier is a win for us, and that’s where Huel’s new ready-to-drink meal alternative comes in.
No careful scooping or mixing is needed; this bad boy is all ready to go. Just take the cap off and drink. Available in two great tasting flavours – berry and vanilla – they still contain everything you need including 20g of protein, 5.7g of fibre and all 26 essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, D, potassium, iron and calcium.
It nicely fills you up, but doesn’t leave you feeling bloated or greased out like that burger from the DZ café. The ingredients are all totally vegan too, and the bottles are widely recycled.
