The LearnDash dashboard is your central hub for managing all courses, lessons, and topics. Here’s an overview of how these elements are organized and how you can interact with them:

1. Courses

Courses are the primary structure in LearnDash. This section is where all your courses are created and stored. You can manage existing courses or build new ones using these options:

  • Create a Course: Click the “Create” button from the video playlist or the “Add New” button in the Courses section.
  • All your courses will be accessible from this section, making it easy to manage and update them as needed.

2. Lessons

Lessons serve as the building blocks within your courses. They house your instructional content and are designed to guide learners through the material step by step.

  • Add a Lesson:
    • Use the “Add New” button in the Lessons section to create a standalone lesson.
    • Alternatively, navigate to your course in the Course Builder and add lessons directly to the course structure.
  • All lessons are stored here, providing a quick and organized way to access and manage them.

3. Topics

Topics break lessons into smaller, digestible parts and allow for detailed explanations or step-by-step guidance within a lesson. Like lessons, topics are flexible in how they are added:

  • Add a Topic:
    • Use the “Add New” button in the Topics section.
    • Or, go to the Course Builder within your course to add topics directly to a lesson.
  • All topics created will be stored in this section for easy reference and management.
