British Skydiving Staff

Staff at British Skydiving HQ are responsible for day-to-day running of the British Skydiving in accordance with the policy of the Council, including membership renewals and conversions, and answering questions on a wide range of matters including technical, safety, events and first-time jumping, etc.

Rob is a sport leader with an excellent track record across multiple leading governing bodies in the high-performance sport industry. He brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic expertise to British Skydiving.
 
In his role in GB Boxing, a multi-Olympic medal winning programme, Rob delivered significant portfolio and organisational change as part of transforming its talent strategy. His deep sports knowledge and proven ability to drive innovation and results will be instrumental in steering British Skydiving towards continued success in an ever-evolving membership body landscape.


Lise is the financial expert on the staff team and works closely with the Treasurer, the CEO, and the Finance Committee of which she is Secretary, the role involves all aspects of finance from bookkeeping and budgeting to the preparation of final accounts for external audit. Lise is also the secretary to the Board of Directors.


Formerly a Chief Instructor at an Affiliated Parachute Training Organisation, Jeff chairs our Safety & Training Committee and is course director of our instructor training courses. He is an Advanced Instructor and Instructor Examiner with a background in the military.


Kev joins British Skydiving from a busy PTO where he was a full-time instructor and Deputy Chief Instructor. He started skydiving in 2001 and gained his first instructor rating in 2009, an eventful course as an instructor candidate deployed his canopy in the aircraft as he was moving to the door on a static line jump! He has just under 9,000 jumps, and is an Advanced Instructor, Examiner and CT/CP Coach.
 
Outside skydiving, Kev has interests in travel and flying. He holds a helicopter PPL and a degree in Geography. He taught in Ghana for 6 months when he finished his degree, has travelled to various exotic parts of the world and has been involved in running overseas volunteer organisations.

Ryan has over 12,600 skydives and a passion for exploring the world from above. As a tandem instructor, AFF instructor, and category system instructor, he’s shared his love for skydiving with countless others. Beyond the sky, Ryan holds a degree in Music and has worked as a professional musician. He’s also a pilot, paragliding coach, speed flyer, and an avid surfer.


Trudy is Secretary to our Safety and Training Committee and its Riggers’ Subcommittee and looks after the administration of all our technical and safety activities, including instructor courses.


Liam has been jumping for just over 12 years and is an active instructor and parachute rigger. He brings not only his jumping knowledge but a strong background of social media management, copy and content writing from his time as an agency owner. 


Helen is the main point of contact for competitors and judges for both national and international competitions.


Kelly is the finance and risk officer on the staff team and works closely with the Finance Manager, the role involves all aspects of  day to day finance and risk. Kelly can help with account or invoice enquiries. 



Stacey was appointed as the new part-time Administration Secretary in April 2022. Stacey has a wealth of experience in administration and has settled quickly into the team. Stacey will be the main point of contact for all admin enquiries and will offer her help and support to other staff members when needed.


Karey is one half our membership services team.

Often the first point of contact with members, and often the friendly voices who answer the phone when you ring British Skydiving. Their knowledge of membership is fantastic, and they’re good at answering or identifying people who can answer, all sorts of questions about the sport.


Meghan is one half our membership services team.

Nicola looks after the increasingly important area of compliance across the range of our activities. Nicola’s role is to manage the compliance programme and training staff to
making sure we comply with standards, regulations, and guidelines.
