Jasper Pyer of Skydive Langar has been named Instructor of the Year 2024, an award sponsored by Vigil and selected by the Head of Safety, Training & Competitions alongside the Safety & Training Officers. Qualifying as an instructor within the past 12 months, Jasper demonstrated outstanding commitment to learning and development throughout the instructor course. While not initially standing out for raw ability, Jasper’s enthusiasm for feedback, strong work ethic, and consistent progression set him apart. By the end of the course, Jasper emerged as an excellent example of a Category System Instructor, fully prepared for real-world instruction and a credit to both the training system and Skydive Langar.
