British Skydiving
Annual General Meeting (AGM)

The British Skydiving Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an important event in our calendar — a chance for members to come together, have their say, and help shape the future of our sport.
Held each year alongside Skydive the Expo, the AGM brings together skydivers, instructors, drop zone operators, and volunteers from across the UK to review the organisation’s progress, elect Board Directors, and discuss key issues affecting our community.

Why the AGM Matters

The AGM is where members can:

  • Review the organisation’s activities and financial performance for the previous year

  • Vote on resolutions and proposed changes to the Articles of Association

  • Elect new members to the Board of Directors

  • Ask questions directly to Board members and staff

  • Celebrate achievements within our community through awards and recognition

Every vote counts — your participation helps guide the direction of British Skydiving and ensures the organisation continues to represent the interests of its members.

Voting Information

Full members of British Skydiving are eligible to vote.
Voting can take place:

  • In person at the AGM, or

  • Online in advance, via our secure voting platform (details and instructions are emailed to all eligible members before the event).

If you’re unable to attend in person, online voting ensures your voice is still heard.

AGM Documents

Ahead of each AGM, British Skydiving publishes all relevant documents for members to review. These typically include:

  • AGM Agenda

  • Annual Report and Financial Statements

  • Candidate Profiles for Board Elections

  • Any proposed Special Resolutions or amendments to the Articles of Association

Documents will be available to download approximately four weeks before the AGM.

Awards and Recognition

The AGM is followed by the British Skydiving Awards Ceremony, where we celebrate the incredible achievements of members and drop zones across the UK.
From outstanding service to innovation and competition success, these awards shine a spotlight on the people who make our sport what it is.

Whether you’re voting, attending in person, or watching the livestream, your involvement helps shape the organisation that represents UK skydivers.
