



British Skydiving would like to thank Richard Lockwood and Lauren Durkan, who have stepped down from their roles as Independent Non-Executive Directors with effect from 31 January 2026.
During their time on the Board, Richard and Lauren have contributed valuable independent perspective and support, and we are grateful for the time and commitment they have given to the organisation and to the sport.
The Board will now begin recruiting new Independent Non-Executive Directors to ensure continued independent input as British Skydiving moves forward.

Why have Richard and Lauren stepped down?
After careful consideration, Richard and Lauren decided that the timing was right to step aside, allowing the organisation to benefit from new independent perspectives as it continues to develop.
When did this take effect?
Their resignations took effect on 31 January 2026.
Will this affect the running of British Skydiving?
No. The Board remains fully functional, and arrangements are in place to ensure continuity and effective governance.
