This is a Master Index for all BPA Magazines produced from 1964 (the first year of production).

Identification of some of the older editions is not straightforward due to inconsistencies, errors and omissions in their identifying information. This has been exacerbated by the early irregularity and number of editions each year. The information used in the magazines comprises year, volume number, edition number within the volume and season or month.

For example, what we now know to be the last magazine of 1970 was originally identified as “The edition with an 8 way on front cover and 1970 Nationals Report on page 9”. The first edition of 1970 was also completely lacking in identifying information. During 1988, the preceding year’s volume number, 24, was carried forward resulting in 12 editions within the same volume spanning two years. 1989 editions were then identified as Volume 25 when, strictly, they should have been Volume 26. The use of volume numbers fell into disuse shortly afterwards. Some other anomalies are also apparent. There are duplicates for Volume 18 Edition 3 in 1981, Volume 19 Edition 5 in 1982 and Volume 20 Edition 5 in 1983. The use of Volume 20 was also carried forward for Edition 1 of 1984. The first edition of 1988 has ‘March’ inside and ‘February’ on the front cover. These errors have been highlighted by the use of red text in the Index and an explanatory entry in the ‘Notes’ column.
