British Skydiving Staff

Staff at British Skydiving HQ are responsible for day-to-day running of the British Skydiving in accordance with the policy of the Council, including membership renewals and conversions, and answering questions on a wide range of matters including technical, safety, events and first-time jumping.

Robert Gibson

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Rob is a sport leader with an excellent track record across multiple leading governing bodies in the high-performance sport industry. He brings a wealth of leadership experience and strategic expertise to British Skydiving.
 
In his role in GB Boxing, a multi-Olympic medal winning programme, Rob delivered significant portfolio and organisational change as part of transforming its talent strategy. His deep sports knowledge and proven ability to drive innovation and results will be instrumental in steering British Skydiving towards continued success in an ever-evolving membership body landscape.
Lise Moore

Head of Operations & Finance

Lise is the financial expert on the staff team and works closely with the Treasurer, the CEO, and the Finance Committee of which she is Secretary, the role involves all aspects of finance from bookkeeping and budgeting to the preparation of final accounts for external audit. Lise is also the Company Secretary.
Jeff Montgomery

Head of Safety, Training & Competitions

Formerly a Chief Instructor at an Affiliated Parachute Training Organisation, Jeff chairs our Safety & Training Committee and is course director of our instructor training courses. He is an Advanced Instructor and Instructor Examiner with a background in the military.
Lucy Mancey

Head of Membership and Engagement

With over 25 years in the sport, Lucy is our newly appointed Head of Membership and Engagement. Lucy is also an advanced packer and 8-way FS competitor.

Ryan Mancey

Safety and Training Officer

Ryan has around 13,000 skydives and a passion for exploring the world from above. As an advanced instructor, instructor examiner, tandem instructor, AFF instructor, category system instructor and camera flyer, he’s shared his love for skydiving with countless others.
 
Beyond the sky, Ryan holds a degree in Music and has worked as a professional musician. He’s also a pilot, paragliding coach, speed flyer, ironman triathlete and an avid surfer.
Trudy Kemp

Assistant to Head of Safety, Training & Competitions

Trudy is Secretary to our Safety and Training Committee and its Riggers’ Subcommittee and looks after the administration of all our technical and safety activities, including instructor courses.
Lizzie Butcher

Compliance, Governance and Risk Manager

Lizzie is responsible for overseeing governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk management across the organisation, ensuring robust standards are maintained at all levels.

Her role also includes oversight of safeguarding and complaints processes, ensuring concerns are handled fairly, transparently and in line with expected standards. Lizzie is also Company Secretary and works closely with the Board.

Nandhita Anandh

Marketing and Communications Executive

Nandhita Anandh is a marketing professional with experience in social media strategy, influencer outreach, and brand engagement. At British Skydiving, she helps drive campaigns that expand reach, strengthen community connections, and showcase the sport to wider audiences.
Kaye Meadows

Operations and Membership Services Executive

Kaye has recently joined the Membership Services team at British Skydiving, where she supports members queries and endeavours to enhance the overall skydiving experience.

She was also honoured with the Mike Forge Award for British Skydiving 'New Skydiver of the Year 2025', a recognition that reflects her dedication to the sport and her growing contribution to the skydiving community.

When not in the office, you will find her either jumping out of planes or serving behind the bar at Skydive Langar.

Viv Burchnall

Finance Officer

Viv joined the team as Finance Officer in November 2025. Working closely alongside the Finance Manager, she supports all aspects of daily financial operations. Viv can assist with any account or invoice enquiries.

Stacey Halford-Jones

Events & Competitions Manager

Stacey joined British Skydiving in April 2022 as the administration secretary.

In April 2025 she became one half of the Events & Competitions Team. Together they facilitate domestic and international competitions, Skydive The Expo and all the admin that is involved in those.

Karey Goodwin

Membership Services

Karey is one half our membership services team. Often the first point of contact with members, and often the friendly voices who answer the phone when you ring British Skydiving.

Their knowledge of membership is fantastic, and they’re good at answering or identifying people who can answer, all sorts of questions about the sport.

Meghan Sheedy

Events & Competitions Manager

Meghan has worked at British Skydiving since 2015. Having first started as the original Competitions Coordinator, then moving into Membership Services, she’s now come full-circle, acting as one half of the Events & Competitions Team.

Together, the team works to facilitate domestic and international competitions, Skydive The Expo, and many little things in between.

Pippa Baldrey

Skydiving Safety and Insight Analyst

Pippa joined British Skydiving in February 2026, and is responsible for developing and improving data systems to support safety and operational insight.

With nearly a decade of working in data analysis within elite sport, she is passionate about turning complex information into clear, practical insights.

Away from the laptop she is normally found outside - surfing, climbing, hiking or cold water swimming, and is also a qualified freediver and SCUBA diver.
