Alex Busby-Hicks (Buzz) has advised the Board that he is stepping down from his role as a Director of the Association with immediate effect.
In his own words:
“I have taken the tough decision to step down from the Board of Directors with immediate effect, It has been hard balancing the running of a DZ alongside being a member of the board, and an increase in demands at Tilstock means I no longer have the capacity to commit to both. It has been an honour to be part of the board for the last three years and I am excited for the future of the Association under the direction of our new CEO Robert Gibson and wish him and the rest of the Board all the best for the future.”
British Skydiving wishes Buzz all the best and thank him for the time, dedication and energy that he has put into the role during his time as a Director.
As the annual elections are due to start shortly, the board will not be looking to fill this role as a casual vacancy.
