Complaints Procedure

British Skydiving announce a revision to the Complaints Policy & Procedures

Following the recent Board meeting at which it was agreed, British Skydiving has today launched the new Membership Disciplinary Procedures.  This replaces the Form 256 “Complaints Policy” and Form 256a “Complaints Procedure”.

The new procedures set out in greater detail the process for making a complaint, how the complaint will be investigated, what happens at a disciplinary tribunal, and the appeal process.

British Skydiving’s Safeguarding & Compliance Manager, Paul Smith said “The new procedure provides a clear understanding of the disciplinary process from start to finish.  It informs all members of their rights under the process and sets out what they can expect should they be subject of a complaint.  It is an open and transparent process and one that ensures that members can understand how a complaint will be handled at every stage of the proceedings.”

CEO Rob Gibson said “I am very pleased to see this new procedure put in place.  It is another step in delivering a governing body that is up to date with current thinking and practices within the sporting community.”
