Nominations for the British Skydiving Board of Directors open today!
In total, there are four vacancies this year. Three are for the full 3 year term, with the fourth filling the casual vacancy and lasting 2 years. The person who comes 4th in the elections will take the 2 year term.
More details on why you should consider being a Non-Executive Director of British Skydiving can be found here
Full members will receive an email from our elections partner with further information, including the link to the nominations site.
This is an opportunity to join the team developing and maintaining British Skydiving’s strategic focus and helping the organisation to achieve its goals.
The Association would benefit from additional expertise on the Board in the following areas: finance, legal and HR. The role is suitable for those able to commit the necessary time to the Association.
As a minimum, Directors generally give approx. 8 hours per month for Board matters, and in the future, we are asking for at least one day per year to represent British Skydiving at one of the Association’s events at a DZ that is not a Director’s home DZ.
If a Director chooses to contribute to a Committee or Working Group, that is approximately an additional 2 hours per month.
