A statement from Mary, Chair of British Skydiving.
I hope our members will join the Board in wishing Wes Guest all the best with an exciting new venture, and thanking him for the time he has given to British Skydiving. Wes joined the Board in January 2023 and resigned from his position as a Director and Chair of the Elite Performance Committee on 31 July.
He is still keen to contribute to the Association where he can but no longer has the time required to fulfil these roles due to an unexpectedly strong take-up of the new wake park business he has just launched in Vietnam.
So, Mark Bayada is stepping into the role of EPC Chair for the rest of this year and we will shortly be sharing further information regarding the two casual vacancies created by the resignations of Theo and Wes.
