4. TANDEM MODIFICATION REQUEST – DAVE BALLARD (NOT CLEARED for general use)
A letter had been received from Dave Ballard, which had been circulated with the Agenda requesting permission to fit a Paratec handle to his Tandem Vector equipment. He had also requested permission to fit the APA?s remaining Tandem Vector with the same modification.
Dave Chapman (Advanced Rigger) would be inspecting Mr Ballard’s modification.
The Chairman advised those present that a letter had been received that morning from Jeff Chandler, which was circulated to those present proposing that this modification be authorised on any Tandem Vector system.
The Committee agreed that before they could consider Jeff’s proposal it would need to go out as a main Agenda item for discussion at another meeting.
It was proposed by Dave Ballard and seconded by Kim Newton that Mr Ballard?s request be accepted.
