Nominations for 5 Council seats are open

Five seats on British Skydiving Council become available for elected members at the AGM on Saturday 25th January 2020. The election by full (voting) members takes place not at the AGM but in advance, over Christmas and the New Year.

Nominations were invited from 09:00 on Tuesday 1st October when Mi-Voice (election scrutineers) went live at mi-nomination.com/bpa. Nominations close at noon on Wednesday 13th November.  Council members are non-executive Directors of British Parachute Association Ltd (to be known by our new trading name of British Skydiving) and among their most important responsibilities are setting the strategic direction and assuring the good health of our Association.

If you may be interested, please read Form 178, Duties and responsibilities of a Council Member, and Form 297. Council Member role description, both downloadable from the ‘Search Forms’ box on the website. Then visit the nominations site for further information including eligibility and how to stand, for which each nominee needs a proposer and seconder who, like the nominee, must also be full members. If there are five or more candidates an election will be triggered.
