NFTO take Silver at the World Cup of Formation Skydiving

Congratulations to NFTO Skydiving Team who took Silver in the FS 4-way Female category at the 2019 World Cup in Formation Skydiving held at Skydive Ariziona. Pictured (l to r) are Kate Lindsley, Siân Stokes, Simon Brentford (camera), Vana Parker and Anna Hicks.

In the FS 4-way Female category, NFTO battled against France to secure the silver medal with a total score of 193 and an average of 19.30.  ALOLA 4-way Formation Skydiving Team were the second all-female team and placed 6th with a score of 108 and an average of 10.80 in their first international competition.

The FS 4-way Open category saw three British teams compete with 10 other international teams. By round 9 Chimera had worked their way up to 5th position after a long fight with France and Sweden. In the final round, the French and Swedish teams pushed the team into 7th place with a total score of 187, a position still to be proud of. Eros Skydive finished in 11th with the Pajama Pumas in 13th.

Groomed were the only British team in the FS 8-way category finishing in 9th position overall with a score of 82 points.

NOVA and FSU contested the Freestyle category with NOVA finishing 4th overall and just 0.4 points away from the Bronze medal. Father and Daughter team FSU placed 8th in their first international competition.
