Royal Aero Club Trust Announces Start of 2020 Bursary

The Royal Aero Club Trust has announced the start of the 2020 bursary awards scheme for young persons. The Scheme remains the same as it was in 2018 and 2019, when the Trust awarded 48 and 35 bursaries respectively.

If you are keen to progress your skydiving qualifications but held back by lack of funds you may apply for a bursary award. Thirteen BPA Members who were awarded bursaries in 2019 were able to gain a variety of qualifications including FS1, FF1 and a TR1 coach rating along with other skydivers who were able to compete at National Championship events.

Applicants need to be BPA Members aged between 16 and 21; or can be aged up to 24 in the case of a follow-on bursary. Full details of the rules of the scheme, as well as application forms, are available on the Royal Aero Club Trust web site, www.royalaeroclubtrust.org.

The closing date for applications is 31st March 2020
