Skydive the Expo 2020 – Cancellation Notice


It is with heavy hearts and disappointment that we announce the cancellation of Skydive the Expo 2021 (due to take place 29-30 January). The AGM that is due to take place on the morning of Saturday 30 January will now take place virtually.

Whilst only a short time ago we felt optimistic that January was far enough away to confidently proceed with our plans, given the growing concerns around COVID-19, the ever-evolving guidance, the complexity surrounding local lockdowns and the restrictions on international travel makes the probability of factors outside our control forcing us to cancel the show at the last minute much higher.

Skydive the Expo is an incredibly important event for the whole community and it is one of our favourite ways to connect with you all and celebrate together – but we need to prioritise the health and safety and wellbeing of our members, speakers, exhibitors, employees and everyone who helps put Skydive the Expo on.

The event team will be working hard to bring Skydive the Expo back in 2022 and we will be making an announcement on how you can attend the virtual AGM as soon as we have finalised the details.

2021 also marks the 60th Anniversary of the Association and we hope to be able to release details of an event to mark this special occasion in the new year.

We would like to thank our community for the support that has been shown to us as we all work through these difficult times.
